Have fallen in love with the Magie Valley area. We love to gem mine and there is lots of it to do there. The train ride out of Bryson City was great. The nicest mine people were at the Mason Mt. Rhodolite Mine. Being on the Travel Channel has made the people at The Sheffield Mine **************. The place was not like what you saw on TV. There is so much hiking and nature viewing in this state. It is by far the most rounded.
